Beer Festival 2025 at Southwick Community Centre, BN42 4TE on Friday 23rd May to Saturday 24th May 2025. 

Once again, there will be a great selection of cask and keg beers, as well as a dedicated Cider Bar. The regular Centre Bar will also be open, for wines, sprits and soft drinks. 
The annual festival helps to raise funds for Southwick Community Centre.  But mainly it's about welcoming people to an event that is very sociable and enormous fun. Southwick Community Centre are Starting their new Cookery class. This free class starting on May 15th 4-6.30pm, will be once a month in conjunction with UKHarvest and supported by West Sussex County Council. Their cook will teach people delicious ideas of what they can make with left overs and foods coming to their use by date. With food supplied by UkHarvest at their monthly food hub. Do you Love LEGO®? on both 28th May, South Downs Leisure have invited the BRICK PEOPLE to Ropetackle centre, Shoreham, who’ll be offering a wide range of LEGO® related activities.

Events consist of various LEGO® activity tables, some containing self-building activities such as mosaics and other tables featuring monitored activities such as a timed speed or tower build, where names of the builders are entered onto a leader board for the day for all to see. £5 (+ £1 fees).

Next month....Hot Air Balloon Festival: 7- 8 June. A new festival is coming to Stanmer Park, Brighton.  Hot air balloons will take to the skies as part of a county fair-style entertainment programme and a mass balloon flight on the Sunday.
