Easthill Park Cafe are holding various events and courses throughout the summer;

Children's art classes - For 6-11 year olds Classes are led by instructors from Cygnet's Brighton Art School.​ Dates: August 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, or 30th ​ or September 13th. ​Midday to 1pm​. Only 10 spaces available per session. Booking essential via the cafe

POTTERY CLASSES (for adults)- at the Easthill Park cafe. The free sessions are led by an experienced teacher and use airdry materials - all skill levels are welcome and the classes are extremely beginner friendly.

Dates: Fully booked but Easthill Park Cafe (Portslade People) are creating a waiting list to see if they can provide more due to popularity.

Summer Fete on Saturday 9th August at Portslade Village Centre, Courthope Road 12-4pm. Free entry. Bouncy Castle, BBQ party, live music and arena displays, stalls selling gifts & treats, an ice cream van and more to be confirmed. Held by the Nautical Training Corps.

Totes Amazing! Tie-Dye workshop for young people. Tuesday 19 August at BRIGHTON MUSEUM 2-4pm £12, members £10. Ages 13-16 (children can be unaccompanied)

Learn a variety of techniques to produce stunning, colourful effects on a tote bag or pencil case. This creative workshop will give you all the skills needed to transform plain fabric and create your own unique design. All materials provided and no experience necessary. Summer Adventure Camp at Cardinal Newman are registered with Ofsted to take children aged 6+ who will enjoy being outside and having an adventure with other children, a willingness to have a go and to support other children in having fun and being adventurous is a must. SAC offer 4 Adventures:

BEE WILD HOLIDAY CLUB. A woodland kindergarten site at Foredown Woods, open for children from 4-8 years old during the school holidays. Starts 9.30am-3pm for a day of adventure and play in nature, nurtured by Forest School practitioners. For cooking over a campfire, making friends, learning new skills, getting muddy, getting active and getting creative in the fresh air. Please note, at the moment the spaces for 3-year-olds are only available to children who already attend the kindergarten. All children aged 4 - 8 are welcome.
